Be a part of an educational revolution! Baltimore Montessori Public Charter School is new to Baltimore City and set to launch in fall of 2008. We are seeking creative, energetic, and nurturing individuals for several assistant teacher positions.  The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, an eagerness to work with children ages 3-11  and their families and communities, demonstrated personal initiative, excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills, a cooperative nature, enthusiasm and commitment to our vision and mission, and possess a willingness to engage in staff development regarding Montessori Education.  Additional experience/training in Montessori education, special education, music, art, physical education, or foreign languages is a plus.  Employment will begin during the 2008-2009 school year, with set-up time taking place during summer 2008.  All instructional staff will be employees of Baltimore City Public School System.
